Rooms With Love Appreciation and Awareness Event 2025

Rooms With Love held its first community event on October 10th, 2025.

Friends, volunteers, supporters and some community partners- we call our people “Roomies” came together to celebrate the mission of Rooms With Love: furnishing homes for individuals and families emerging from homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, children aging out of foster care and vulnerable seniors in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell Counties.

It was an evening filled with compassion, laughter, and the shared purpose of helping local families make their houses feel like a home.

Together, we looked onward to the future and raised awareness and support for the vital work our volunteers do every week-delivering furniture, setting up homes, and spreading love acorss Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties.

Delivering On Our Mission to Turn Houses Into Homes

Many people have heard the phrase food insecurity but few realize there’s something just as real-furniture poverty. Furniture poverty means living without the basic items that make a house a home. Imagine trying to raise children without a bed for them to sleep in, a table for family meals, or even a chair to sit and read. For far too many in this community, this is their daily reality.

Since Rooms With Love became a nonprofit in 2022, together we have:

Delivered to 295 households
Changed the lives for over 471 individuals living in either Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties.
Partnered with 26 different community agencies, churches or schools
